GerHelp is a growing startup, focused on connecting families with trusted caregivers through our job platform. We are currently building our landing page and are looking for a volunteer graphic design student based in Canada to join our team and help improve the visual quality of the images on our site.

Role Overview:

We already have images in place on our landing page, but their quality needs to be significantly improved. Your role will be to enhance and recreate these visuals to look clean, professional, and high-resolution — all while using free design tools such as Canva, Figma, or Photopea (no paid tools required).

This is a great opportunity to build your portfolio and gain startup experience by contributing to a meaningful project.

What You’ll Do:

• Use free tools to improve and redesign our existing landing page visuals
• Make sure images are modern, high-quality, and brand-aligned
• Ensure designs are optimized for both desktop and mobile
• Be responsive and able to deliver work efficiently without delays
• Communicate and collaborate closely with the team

Requirements:

• Based in Canada
• Currently studying or recently graduated in Graphic Design or a related field
• Strong eye for design and attention to detail
• Proficient in free tools like Canva, Figma, or Photopea
• Able to start ASAP and work independently on tight timelines
• Responsive and reliable — we’re looking for someone who takes initiative
• Applicants without a portfolio or examples of past work will not be considered
