About the role

As ATB’s next Analyst II, Processing Operations, you report to the Manager, Operations Processing, and provide primary support to partners in ATB Wealth in transaction processing with a specific focus in our Order Management Team. The Analyst II must effectively manage time in an independent fashion, monitor and action multiple queues while keeping in mind the various Service Level Agreements and adhering to processing guidelines. This role may be required to be the point of contact for all rush requests or those requiring escalation, which may then require reorganizing of resources.

Please note this is a temporary 12 month opportunity.

Accountabilities

  • Accurately review and process requests that come through various queues, demonstrate ability to be agile and process a variety of requests that come through various platforms.
  • Provides support for complex or unique client and investment transactions (e.g., trade and fee management, holdings/transaction reconciliations) and exception processing, and ensures departmental guidelines are adhered to.
  • Ability to provide on the spot coaching/updates to ATB Wealth partners if any issues are identified specific to a request.
  • Investigates and resolves process related issues in support of exceptional customer care.
  • Account Reconciliation & Remediation.
  • Performs quality assurance and ensures adherence to departmental guidelines and established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Identify trends and continuous improvement opportunities to improve client experience by increasing productivity and accuracy.Creates training materials and provide coaching to other staff on how to execute processes.

Skills, experience & requirements

  • You are client obsessed, a champion of belonging, and driven to perform.
  • Post secondary education or diploma preferred.
  • Experience within the Securities Industry or Financial Services industry preferred.
  • Comfortable with the language and time frames associated with securities processing.
  • Previous client service experience is beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical proficiencies, including using G-Suite programs and ability to quickly learn various other programs related to the Investment Industry
