About the role
Neighbourly Pharmacy (7169320 Manitoba Ltd) is looking for a Food Service Supervisor to join our Tim Hortons team in Gimli, Manitoba.
Responsibilities:
- The Food Service Supervisor is responsible for supervising, directing and coordinating the activities of Food Service Staff who prepare, portion and serve food.
- Establish work schedules and procedures.
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
- Requisition of food and kitchen supplies.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
- Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Prepare and submit reports.
- May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets.
- Supervises 5 to 10 people including Food Service Staff (Front Counter Attendants, Bakers).
Qualifications:
- Supervisory experience of 1+ years.
- Experience in the Food Services Industry is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Tim Horton’s products and procedures.
- Secondary (high) school certificate or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills (motivating, delegation, conflict management, respect for others, listening).
- Professional attitude and ability to communicate well with customers, co-workers, and suppliers.
- Due to this position’s sensitive nature, the successful candidate must complete a Criminal Record Check.
Other Job Details:
- Two (2) Positions
- 40 hours per week.
- The store is open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.
- 8-hour shift
- Day Shift
- Evening Shift
- Weekend as needed
