Please note this is a permanent position. Your role Reporting to the Senior Creative Manager, Entertainment Unit, within the Marketing & Communications division, your role will be to develop, co-ordinate and execute marketing communications plans and projects across multiple platforms. You will ensure these projects align with the objectives and expectations of the relevant departments, all while adhering to corporate standards and policies.

More specifically, you will work closely with the Entertainment project management team to help develop and co-ordinate the production of internal and external publicity campaigns for our television and digital entertainment content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise departments requesting projects on their feasibility, implementation and progress.
  • Track production timelines for all publicity materials associated with a project.
  • Verify that publicity materials produced by production teams comply with the dedicated media plan across all platforms (print, digital, audio, video, social, etc.).
  • Co-ordinate all information needed to deliver projects (gather requester needs, perform costing, obtain submissions, establish timelines, determine team availability and secure the required approvals).
  • Work closely with the various departments to produce and deliver compelling, effective projects that meet desired goals.
  • Help prepare creative briefs and distribute them in tandem with the Senior Creative Manager, ensuring everyone involved has a good understanding of projects.
  • In conjunction with project managers, co-ordinate the execution of all manner of marketing communications projects, ensuring their quality as well as their compliance with standards, timelines, budgets and other conditions.
  • Discuss issues with project participants, recommend alternatives and report on progress or changes made to projects.
  • Track projects and act as a single point of contact for internal and external resources.

Qualifications What you bring:

  • College diploma in a field related to the job (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered) OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or marketing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in communications, advertising, digital marketing or a related field
  • Three (3) or more years’ relevant experience in creative and advertising production or in a role with equivalent responsibilities

  • Knowledge of and passion for digital media
  • Extensive knowledge of the digital advertising market
  • Social media savvy and passion for innovation and the digital space
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of staff and management
  • Ability to be versatile, flexible, independent and adaptable to change
  • Excellent organizational skills, diligence, tact and team-playing attitude
  • Excellent command of spoken and written French; English is an asset
  • Ability to work on several large projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to engage teams and foster teamwork
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
  • Strong client-service orientation
