This role is responsible for supporting the Senior Program Delivery Manager and EPMO to ensure that the Co-operators meets the requirements of the OSFI E21 Guidelines, by developing a plan, managing the roadmap, and ensuring that there is appropriate change management in the implementation of the plan. The role will also focus on updating project management practices, processes, guidelines, tools and templates, including the PM Playbook, to ensure consistency in the management and oversight of projects across the enterprise.
How you will create impact:
- Contributes to the enhancement of the Delivery Framework processes, procedures and templates to ensure quality and governance of the project/program management discipline across the enterprise.
- Supports the design of project-portfolio practices and the development, coaching and education of the Project Management community.
- Works with the Senior Manager, Program Delivery Excellence to provide oversight of project/portfolio/program practices, commitment to adoption of new processes and focus on continuous measurement and improvements with an Enterprise-Wide lens.
- Collect and analyze data to assist in assessing effectiveness of project practices and report on framework compliance; and as required, participates in Spot Checks to assess a project against the framework and guidelines.
- Helps identify opportunities for integration with other processes and participates in the integration of these processes.
- Helps develop change tactics and communications to support adoption of new processes and procedures.
- Assists management in the communication of changes to ensure understanding across the enterprise (e.g. to stakeholders, delivery partners, ETO peers and management).
- Supports partnership within PMD ES and Technology PMOs to ensure practices are understood and being followed.
- Performs project management related duties to manage the delivery of the E-21 project.

- Strong project practice and delivery expertise in both agile and waterfall methodologies with a minimum five years of experience, Project Manager or PMO analyst and similar roles.
- Strong project management competencies and soft skills (i.e. facilitation, conflict resolution, negotiations, executive communications, problem identification, analysis and resolution skills).
- Excellent in communication, building strong relationships and working with virtual teams, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders using written, audio and visual forms of communication.
- Good understanding of project risk and issue management.
- Experience in process design and improvement.
- Understanding of impact of decisions - on people, cost and resource utilization.
- Critical thinker; planning skills; and ability to execute with accountability.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, MS Project.
- PMP, CAPM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent.
- Knowledge in Change Management practices, Prosci or equivalent would be an asset.
