About the Opportunity:
The Book Club Facilitator will be supporting the Operations team by fulfilling a critical role in implementing learning initiatives.
Duties:
- Finding books to offer to the group for reading and discussion.
- Creating a schedule of meetings and book discussions
- Facilitating open, respectful, and stimulating discussions about the book’s content, themes, and author
- Developing discussion questions or topics to guide the conversation
- Ensuring that all members have an opportunity to express their views
- Maintaining a positive, inclusive environment for all club members
- Communicating with members about meeting times, locations, and any changes to the schedule
- Encouraging members to recommend books for future discussions
- Handling any member conflicts or issues that arise
Qualifications:
- Experience working in the disability sector
- Effective communications skills, verbal and written, with excellent interpersonal skills
- Reliable and organized
enVision will provide:

- Guidance and supervision
- Ongoing feedback
- Paid Trainings and paid volunteer requirements
Additional Information:
- Working Condition: in-person
- Hours: 2 hours per week, evenings
- Location: In Community.
- This position requires satisfactory Criminal Record check with a clear Vulnerable Sector Search, clear Adult & Child Abuse Registry Checks and First/Aid CPR. This will be paid by enVision.
