CMG is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Review sales orders and invoices
- Generate S/W revenue reporting in NetSuite
- Review of journal Entries and ensure proper posting in NetSuite
- Review A/P – vendor bills and expense reports
- Assist with review of Professional Services revenue
- Assist with review of Professional Services standard agreements
- Generate Professional Services reports in NetSuite
- Assist with credit card platform
- Roll forward MD&A Tables
- Assist with draft notes to the financial statements
- Transfer pricing – consulting portion of calculation
- Review bank reconciliations
- Help manager NetSuite multibook accounting
- Assist with external audits
- Provide ad-hoc coverage for Accountant/Intermediate roles during vacations or workload spikes.
- Assist with streamlining of processes.
- Mentor junior employees and assist with training
- Work on special projects as needed

Education
- Completion of Post-Secondary Degree/Diploma in Business, Finance or Accounting
Knowledge & Skills
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service skills and communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experience with multi-currency and multi-entity accounting.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Team focused with a positive attitude, must be self-motivated, and have very good time management and communication skills both in written and verbal English.
Experience
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role
