About the Opportunity
- Month-End Close & Reporting : Oversee month-end processes, reconciliations, and internal reporting to ensure timely and accurate financial results, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Financial Compliance : Ensure monthly and quarterly financial reports comply with IFRS and internal/external reporting standards.
- Performance Reporting : Present monthly financial performance insights to Executive Team and Senior Management.
- Forecasting : Lead quarterly forecasting (QSR), incorporating sales pipeline, COGS, OPEX, and key assumptions.
- Action Plan Execution : Support execution of action items from the QSR process in partnership with the General Manager.
- Team Leadership : Provide coaching, development, performance management, and foster collaboration within the finance team.
- Product Financial Analysis : Conduct financial evaluations of new product initiatives including cost, revenue, and profitability analysis.
- Pricing Strategy Support : Partner with business teams on market and deal pricing strategies for products.
- Contract & KPI Oversight : Monitor key customer contract metrics and enforce financial KPIs.
- Tools & Tax Expertise : Provide corporate tax support and become proficient in key financial systems (Adaptive Planning, OpenAir, Salesforce, Great Plains/NetSuite).
About You
- CPA (with public accounting firm training)
- Currently at the Controller/ Director level
- Strong IFRS technical proficiency (controllership, financial reporting)
- FP&A exposure (budgeting, forecasting, planning)
- Experience from the software or technology industry experience
Salary Range
$140,000 to $160,000/year
