Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in every project. As a Seamstress, you will work on alterations that meet our clients' specifications. This role requires excellent sewing skills and strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Operate sewing machines and other equipment to construct garments and perform alterations.
• Measure clients accurately to ensure proper fit and make necessary adjustments.
• Interpret patterns and designs to create custom pieces according to client specifications.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Assist in inventory management of fabrics and supplies as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Seamstress or in a similar role is preferred.
• Proficient in operating industrial sewing machines and tools.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
