Manager, Digital Health Product
Location: Toronto
Why is this role important?
We are hiring a Manager, Digital Health Product to lead digital health roadmap initiatives focused on driving pharmacy and healthcare services through appointment bookings and associated pre- and post-care experiences. The Manager will enhance and expand on experiences between our network of pharmacies, clinics and customer facing health and wellness platform which empowers users to better access, navigate and manage their healthcare needs. The Manager will support key business vendor partner relationships and work closely with our pharmacy and healthcare business leads, as well as the operations, data & analytics and technology teams, to identify, structure and guide digital health opportunities into viable solutions. The Manager will use user insights and analytical models to assess opportunities and determine the impact of innovative digital health initiatives to ensure the products we build are improving the omni-channel patient experience.
What You'll Do:
- Lead omni-channel experiences for a high-profile customer-facing health & wellness digital platform
- Support with driving user acquisition and engagement through product roadmap decisions, using user insights and user feedback wherever possible
- Lead multiple digital health projects in partnership with internal teams and external partners
- Lead multiple projects from ideation, design, development through to launch
- Work collaboratively with our vendor partners and internal technology teams across product management, design and engineering
- Make strategic decisions based on complex data and information
- Review and provide oversight over testing and development
- Develop work back plans for product work and management of timelines
- Be accountable for execution and meeting product roadmap timelines and targets
- Support user acceptance testing for all new features
- Support with regular business reporting on product performance
- Become the subject matter expert in new areas of healthcare innovation, as well as relevant regulatory and industry developments
What You'll Need:
- 5+ years of previous work experience
- A university degree or equivalent, in healthcare, technology, product or business is preferred.
- Experience in technology and product development building software products is required, and health care (or other regulated industries) experience is an asset.
- A significant portion of the roadmap for this role gets done through third party development teams. We’re looking for someone who is experienced influencing through collaboration and with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience managing a digital roadmap and the ability to measure and communicate the success of your portfolio.
- A lot of the solutions required to support the business teams are complex, we are looking for someone with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with well-developed interpersonal skills to help bring these to life. Your ability to work with cross-functional departments to achieve business goals in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment is key.
- It is important to communicate and advocate for your portfolio’s progress, we are looking for someone with the ability to autonomously ship and drive outcomes and communicate the overall impact.
- You will be comfortable using tools like Slack, Coda, Confluence, Jira and Miro to support your daily work
- You will be required to be in office 4 days/week in Toronto and North York
