Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Personal Trainer located in Calgary, AB. The Personal Trainer will be responsible for developing and leading fitness programs, providing personalized training, and guiding athletes in conditioning routines. Daily tasks include fitness instruction, circuit training sessions, sports coaching, and providing nutritional advice to optimize athletic performance.
Qualifications
- Skills in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction
- Experience in Circuit Training and Sports Coaching
- Knowledge of Nutrition
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) or equivalent
- A passion for helping athletes achieve their goals

As one of the largest volleyball clubs in Canada, our Calgary, Foothills, Cochrane, Medicine Hat, Lethbridge, and Fraser Valley chapters operate with over 57 teams. We offer immense opportunity for mobility, growth, and freedom at all age groups. Our players compete in a team environment and learn the fundamental skills required for playing in Canadian and American port-secondary institutions. Our coaches can provide insight for athletes’ future planning and are more than willing to help athletes set goals and assist them in achieving them.
Ace Volleyball Club is involved in several community outreach initiatives. A few of the charities we support includes the Alberta’s Children Hospital, Make a Wish Foundation, and several local food banks. In the past eight seasons Ace Volleyball Club has raised over $97,000 for children in the Alberta Children’s Hospital, $100,000 for Make a Wish Foundation, $12,000 for the Canadian Women’s National Volleyball Team, and has donated a dozen boxes of volleyball gear to youth in Nairobi, Kenya via the Youth Initiative Development Program.
