Responsibilities
General Profile
The Packaging and Release Analyst will represent technology with the responsibility of solutioning and streamlining the following:

Prompt download and review of packages (from sharepoint) for deployment.

Deployment automation (componentization for compatibility with Jenkins and Artifactory)

Data correction and batch release scheduling and tracking
-
Escalation of critical/urgent deployment
-
Liaison between deployment/business/QA
-
Validating dependencies to prevent bottlenecks in deployments.

Aligning application environments to meet bank release cycles (including refresh activities)
Responsibilities/Duties
-
Extensive use of JIRA.
-
Extensive use of ServiceNow
-
Analyse linked/dependent JIRA tickets in readiness for deployments across environments.
-
Critical analysis of tickets to avoid duplicates and eliminate redundancy.
-
Determine gaps that can be automated and enhance deployment cycles.
-
Review packages submitted by development team and vendors.
-
Scheduling of packages across environments for multiple applications.
-
Stakeholder management.
-
Following up with critical Incident tickets
-
Understanding bank release cycles to align all application environments.
-
Environment preparation in readiness for release cycles.
-
Efficiently deliver under tight schedules.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

Knowledge of JIRA
-
Knowledge of ServiceNow
-
Knowledge of work package handling and scheduling

Knowledge of Jenkins
-
Knowledge of Jfrog Artifactory
-
Knowledge of release life cycle
-
Basic knowledge of T24 (Packaging components)

Advanced Excel knowledge.
