The Role:
We’re hiring a Software Engineer I (Front-End Focus) to help shape and deliver exceptional user experiences across our platforms. You’ll use your deep knowledge of React, TypeScript , and modern CSS frameworks to create responsive, accessible, and high-performing UIs. This role combines a sharp eye for design execution with strong technical ability to implement full-stack features with back-end support.
You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, and back-end developers to craft intuitive interfaces and elevate our user experience.
What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
- Build responsive, accessible front-end applications using React, TypeScript, and SASS/Styled Components
- Work with designers in Figma to translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect implementations
- Optimize for web performance, Core Web Vitals, and cross-browser compatibility
- Implement and consume RESTful APIs in collaboration with back-end engineers
- Apply best practices in code modularity, reusability, and maintainability
- Use version control (GitHub), participate in peer code reviews, and contribute to internal documentation
- Ensure user security through front-end validation and awareness of XSS/CSRF risks
- Stay up to date with new front-end frameworks, tools, and techniques
- Contribute to discussions on system architecture and UI state management strategies
What You Bring (Core Skills):
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on front-end engineering
- Expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS
- Strong understanding of responsive design and SEO best practices
- Familiarity with JS runtime concepts (scope, hoisting, event loop, async behavior)
- Experience integrating front-end components with Laravel-based back ends and RESTful APIs
- Comfortable working with different LLMs to improve productivity (Copilot, Claude Code, CursorAI, JetBrain Junie)
- Comfortable using design systems and front-end testing frameworks
- Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) and deployment workflows
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across disciplines
- Bonus: knowledge of Google Core Web Vitals, accessibility standards (WCAG), and front-end performance tools
