Description
It is an outstanding opportunity to join a fast-paced team and provide support to the Systems Applications Team. You'll contribute to ongoing enhancements and improvements of current applications while developing new features to deliver a better experience for the customers. This role involves working across the full software development life cycle (SDLC), with a strong focus on maintaining and supporting internal custom solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, debug, and deploy applications.
- Work with key front-end and back-end technologies, including Angular 6+, Java 8+ with Spring
- Engage in the full SDLC process, delivering constant technical support.
- Modernize legacy applications, including migrating from Struts to Spring Boot.
- Support upgrading front-end frameworks to Angular 8+.
- Perform maintenance on J2EE applications, deployed on WebSphere Application Server.
- Collaborate with leads and consultants to apply best practices.
Qualifications:
- Extensive background in full SDLC using Agile methodologies.
- 7+ years of experience in full-stack development with proficiency in Angular , Java , and Spring .
- Proven experience with databases, such as Postgres , Oracle, or SQL .
- Experience with version control (GitHub), CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and deployment using Docker.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and effective use of Jira/Confluence for documentation.
- Proven ability to solve technical challenges and contribute to open-source projects.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or an IT-related field.
