Indigoblue Group of Companies (“IBGC”) is currently seeking a Legal Counsel with a focus on Real Estate conveyancing and enforcement to work in-person out of our office in Etobicoke, Ontario for a 1-year contract (with the possibility of extension).

Overview of Position
IBGC is seeking a Lawyer to join our fast-growing team. The incumbent will be responsible for ongoing mortgage closings/conveyancing as well as mortgage enforcement work. The individual will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. The position reports to the CEO or his delegate. The position will evolve into other facets of corporate and contract law in time.
Skills / Qualifications Required
- 1 year of experience in Real Estate law with a specific focus on conveyancing and enforcement work
- Proficiency working with Teraview and conveyancing platforms
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Capacity to work effectively in both a team environment and independently
- Impeccable grammar and proofreading skills
- Strong client service orientation
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve
Experience
- Thorough knowledge of mortgage/real estate closing process from beginning to end (Required)
- Post-call Real Estate Lawyer: 1 years (Required)
License
- Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (Required)
- Membership with Nova Scotia Barristers' Society (desired)
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
