Job Description Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries. Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories, giving instructions. Maintains security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, issuing visitor badges.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and visitors by greeting, directing and announcing them appropriately.
- Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
- Receive, sort and deliver mail and deliveries daily.
- Follow all security protocols by checking visitors in, making sure they stay in the visitor areas.
- Interface with Facilities Manager and cleaning crew regarding building maintenance.
- Maintain and update meeting room schedules and calendars.
- Plan travel and input expenses for assigned executives.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars as requested.
- Order office supplies.
- Maintain the Company Directory.
- Assist with social gatherings in the office.
- Perform clerical duties and projects as assigned.
- Human Resources projects as assigned.
- Keep Reception area and meeting rooms tidy.
- Model a “can-do” approach.
Qualifications:
- Proven work experience in a front office handling receptionist responsibilities.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to adapt to new technology.
- Professional appearance.
- Professional and positive attitude with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.
- Ability to organize, multitask and prioritize.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently.

- Frequently required to sit, talk, and hear.
