Position Overview
Densify is on a mission to enable AI driven, autonomous management of Cloud Infrastructure Resources, from Kubernetes, to IaaS, to GPUs.
Densify is seeking an experienced cloud technology expert to fill a new Field CTO role. In this role, you will serve as a strategic thinking technical leader, evangelist, and trusted advisor to our most important prospects, customers and partners. The Field CTO will bridge the gap between Densify’s technical capabilities and the evolving needs of enterprise clients, supporting sales, customer success, and product strategy with deep domain expertise in Kubernetes, Cloud infrastructure, AI, DevOps, FinOps and Automation.
This role is ideal for a technology leader who thrives on customer engagement, thought leadership, and influencing both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Advisory
- Act as a senior technical advisor to enterprise customers, helping them understand how Densify’s solutions align with their Kubernetes, Cloud, AI, DevOps, and/or FinOps strategies.
- Participate in strategic customer meetings, executive and technical briefings, and hands-on workshops to drive solution adoption and technical alignment.
- Support the sales team with technical insights, solution architecture guidance, and RFP responses.
Thought Leadership & Evangelism
- Represent Densify at industry conferences, webinars, and other public-facing events as a subject matter expert in cloud optimization and FinOps.
- Collaborate with marketing to create white papers, blogs, and technical content showcasing Densify’s unique value proposition.
Product Influence & Feedback
- Work closely with the executive team, product and engineering teams to communicate customer requirements, market trends, and technical feedback.
- Help shape the product roadmap by acting as a bridge between customers and internal teams.
Partner Collaboration
- Develop strong relationships with strategic partners and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring Densify is aligned with their platforms and go-to-market strategies.
- Guide integration strategies and joint solution development with ecosystem partners.
Technical Product Marketing
- Assist marketing with content creation (Blogs, articles, Web content) videos and demonstrations that help position our product competitively
- Attend industry events to support exhibiting and showcasing our products.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Kubernetes, DevOps, Cloud infrastructure, infrastructure engineering, or related roles, with at least 3 years in a customer-facing advisory capacity.
- Deep understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services, and architecture models.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes and related components and architecture.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code.
- Exposure to cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices
- Exposure to practical applications of AI in the enterprise
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for executive audiences.
- Proven ability to influence product direction through customer insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within an observability, DevOps, Automation, Kubernetes, or AI solutions company.
- Experience working directly with scaled Kubernetes based infrastructure or within a Kubernetes management software vendor.
- Certifications from major cloud providers (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment.
- Prior experience as a distinguished senior pre-sales specialist
