About the role
The Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary invites applications for Sessional Instructors to teach Fall 2025 OPMA 317 LEC 01 online via Zoom on Mondays and Wednesdays 09:30-10:45. Classes in the Fall 2025 semester run from September 2 to December 5, 2025. Registrar Scheduled Exams will take place between December 9 to December 19, 2025, if applicable.
OPMA 317 LEC 01: (Fundamentals of Operations and Supply Chain Management)
LEC 01 Monday/Wednesday 09:30-10:45 online
The calendar description of the course:
"An introduction to operations and supply chain management's strategic importance, wide applicability, and sustainability integration. Topics include management of inventory, quality, global supply chains, capacity, projects and process improvement."
Qualifications
- Graduate degree (MBA, MSc, DBA or PhD) or work experience in a relevant field is required.
- Previous post-secondary teaching experience is preferred.
- Preference will be given to applicants who have experience providing instruction face-to-face and online in a post-secondary setting.
- Experience in programs such as Zoom, D2L and other digital education products would be an asset
