About the role

About the Position:

As our receptionist, you truly have your finger on the pulse of the entire brokerage. You are an integral part of what makes us successful!  You're a 'Dynamic' individual welcoming client on the phone and in the office. My client is looking for a Dynamic individual who wants to grow their career from the ground up. You would be the face of the organization. This independent insurance brokerage constantly strives to be a positive influence in our community and enhance the lives of the members within it. Key responsibilities:

  • Opening the office – expectation to be here at least 10 minutes early to get settled and prepared for the day
  • Welcoming Clients (over the phone or in person) – Triage, assist with needs, offer refreshments
  • Data Processing – approximately 4 hours/day
  • Processing Payments & Payment Follow up
  • Administration – managing vendors, maintaining supplies, couriers, pink cards, certificates, postal service, taking payments etc.
  • Special Projects – organizing events, meetings, annual calendar mail out etc.
  • Create Documents – Google docs, Excel Spreadsheets, creating fillable forms as needed
  • From Time to time other responsibilities as needed

Hours of Operation are Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; Onsite

Qualifications & Skillset Required:

  • No Insurance Experience Required
  • High School Diploma required – Post Secondary an asset
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Customer Service Experience; Hospitality and/or Retail What Else Do We Offer?

Compensation:

  • $44,000.00 to $48,000.00 per year
