Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
  • Manage front desk operations, including check-ins and check-outs.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests via phone systems or in person.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to assist guests effectively.
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy.
  • Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs promptly.
  • Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while communicating with guests over the phone.
  • Assist in resolving any guest complaints or issues in a professional manner.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in operating phone systems and front desk software applications.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing guest information.
