To work with Finance and support Project Managers across North America, we are looking for an Intermediate Accounting Analyst to join our team. We are a team working alongside our customers on some of North America’s most prestigious projects in infrastructure projects. And we are proud to have contributed to projects like the Golden Ears and the Lions Gate Bridges. Together with customers, partners, and colleagues, we create a future where people and societies grow and flourish.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Maintaining accounting processes including posting journal entries and preparing general ledger reconciliation
  • Reconciling intercompany transactions, ensuring elimination across entities, preparing monthly intercompany settlement payments
  • Preparing and processing weekly payments for vendors and employees, including invoice coding, and review.
  • Preparing expense reports and reconciling corporate credit cards.
  • Assisting with the preparation of audit working papers, preparing legislative and statutory reports required by government agencies
  • Assisting with cash flow forecast maintenance
  • Assist with the delivery of accurate financial statements, and financial analysis, every month
  • Perform monthly Balanced Sheet reconciliations, and prepare various ad-hoc projects and other duties as required

On top of that, you will:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Understand basic accounting principles, interested in learning and growing
  • Exhibit advanced abilities in various computer applications, including the MS Office suite
  • Possess proficient time management and attention to detail skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate proficiency in technical matters, organization, and interpersonal communication
  • Preferably possess previous experience within the A/E/C industry or consulting engineering environment
  • Have experience in ERP systems implementation or financial process optimization. Knowledge in Deltek Vision and SAP

Base compensation: $68,000 to $85,000 for North Vancouver location only. Actual compensation is subject to variations due to education, experience, skill set and/or location.
