About the role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support operations at one of our customer pickup points. This location functions primarily as a transfer hub, where inventory is received from our main distribution centre and prepared for customer pickups. The role involves unloading inventory using a pump truck, organizing stock, and ensuring orders are confirmed and ready for pickup. You’ll also be responsible for basic computer tasks such as updating order statuses and communicating with the distribution centre to resolve any discrepancies. This is a hands-on role that requires physical lifting and a customer-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
Inventory Receiving: Unload trailers and containers safely using the appropriate equipment. Break down, consolidate, and receive inventory.
Order Picking: Accurately and safely pick items.
Customer Service: Deliver a great customer experience with customers in a professional manner.
Loading/Unloading: Safely unload and load customer/carrier vehicles, along with providing appropriate communication and documentation.
Warehouse Maintenance: General upkeep, cleaning, and organization of working areas.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 years of customer service experience
Comfortability in a physically demanding role, repetitive tasks/movements and lifting heavy objects up to 100 lbs
Ability to work efficiently while ensuring accuracy
Organized and detail-oriented mindset
Comfortable and confident with technology
Effective communication and customer service skills
Positive attitude
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 20 per week
