SAP Finance IT Business Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Finance IT Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP and a strong understanding of finance processes. This role is critical in supporting our business operations, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring the efficient operation of our financial management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Support and Analysis:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements related to financial management.
- Work closely with IT and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for finance processes and SAP systems.
- System Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP financial management systems.
- Resolve system issues and implement required changes through formal change control methodologies.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business processes, system configurations, and user requirements.
- Training and Documentation:
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for end-users to ensure effective utilization of SAP solutions.
- Create and maintain user manuals, training materials, and system documentation**.**
- Data Integrity and Reporting:
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the financial management systems.
- Design and create reports to support business processes and decision-making.
- Monitor data quality KPIs and develop scorecards and dashboards for performance tracking.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced understanding of SAP financial management systems.
- Strong knowledge of data extraction, mapping, and conversion tools.
- Experience with data auditing and validation tools and technologies.
- Proficiency in designing and creating reports to support business processes.
- Familiarity with financial processes and accounting principles, including:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Accounting (AA)
- Controlling (CO)
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, with a focus on financial management.
- Mandatory experience with SAP, including configuration and implementation.
- Knowledge of financial processes and accounting principles is a plus.
- Ability to gather and translate business process and reporting requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business and IT partners.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
