Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Service Writer to join our service team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their service needs are met with exceptional customer service. You will utilize your mechanical knowledge and customer relations skills to facilitate effective communication between customers and technicians.

Duties

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service and install needs.
• Document customer concerns and relay information accurately to the service technicians.
• Provide estimates for repairs and services, ensuring transparency in pricing and timelines.
• Upsell additional services based on customer needs and unit condition.
• Follow up with customers regarding service completion and satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area.
• Collaborate with technicians and the service manager to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining quality standards.

Experience

• Previous experience in automotive or trailer repair or as a trailer technician is highly desirable.
• Strong background in customer service, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Mechanical knowledge is essential to understand customer concerns and relay accurate information to technicians.
• Proven skills in upselling products or services, enhancing overall customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
