Job Description

Sodexo is growing! We are looking for a Jr Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. This position is a full-time. You will be offered is a great team environment, work/life balance and the ability to cook healthy and appealing menus for consumers.

Qualifications

You are an experienced cook who enjoys working in a team environment, ensuring high quality results and meeting food safety, HACCP and OHS standards. During your mandate, you will assist the Executive Chef and team to successfully coordinate – direct all retail food and services, you will prepare meals following standardized recipes and according to departmental policies and procedures. You will prepare and serve meals with attractive and high-quality preparation, work within a set budget to reduce waste, improve production, safety and sanitation in the food services. You will participate in the menu planning, estimate quantities and requisitions supplies of food. You will be asked to complete all HACPP related documentation provided by management and any other duties may be requested.

You will have a minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in a food service environmental and high-volume cooking as well as catering experience. Maintain to highest standard the sanitation rules, perform effectively under pressure and able to anticipate and solve problems. Red Seal is an asset
