Job Summary
The Safety Administrator's role is to support and enhance our Health and Safety program through effective onboarding procedures, training record maintenance, safety documentation organization and implementation and overall administrative support both in the office and the field. This role is critical in ensuring that our workforce is safe, well-trained, and compliant with regulatory and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead onboarding for new hires, ensuring all safety documentation and training requirements are met
- Schedule and manage pre-employment and periodic testing, including drug and alcohol testing, fit-for-duty assessments, and updated training sessions for site specific requirements.
- Conduct site visits to perform safety competency evaluations, observe work practices, and support field teams
- Assist in regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
- Maintain and update safety records, including training logs, certifications, incident reports, and inspection documentation
Qualifications
- NCSO Certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a safety-related administrative role, preferably in construction, aggregate, or industrial settings
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
- Willingness to work extended hours and occasional weekends, and to travel to remote job sites as needed
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00-$82,000.00 per year
