To add to this expertise, we are recruiting for an Accounting Analyst for our Winnipeg office location, to join our collaborative and team focused organization.

As our Accounting Analyst, you would support the Accounting Manager and Director, Finance in the completion of monthly and year-end processing, as well as financial statement preparation
Position Overview:
- Perform month & year end entries and accruals required to prepare consolidated financial statements.
- Provide support to the accounts receivable department as it relates to invoice entry, estimate imports, and job cost entries.
- Maintain and reconcile capital asset and capital lease schedules.
- Perform general ledger account analysis and reconciliation.
- Assist with credit card, fuel card, and phone bill administration.
- Prepare and remit PST & GST remittances for the consolidated group of companies.
- Provide support to business units and accounting staff working in other functional areas within the department.
Qualifications Needed:
- Enrolled or completion of a certified accounting program or equivalent combined level of education and appropriate level of progressive accounting experience.
- Prior experience using database tools and spreadsheet software
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office, strong computer skills and experience with various accounting software packages.
