About the role
Your Opportunity:
As a member of The Summit Walk In Program, and in a clerical role, the Administrative Support IV acts as a clinic assistant and is responsible for supporting efficient operations of clinics/service. The Administrative Support IV must be flexible and able to accept re-allocated workload as required, and able to work cooperatively and collaboratively as a team member and also work independently. The person must have intermediate to advanced computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Power Point, Visio, MS Word, Outlook Calendar/Outlook with capability to learn and use other systems such as Infor WFM, Connect Care, Oracle, Iam (NAR), Netcare.
The Administrative Support IV requires excellent time management, conflict resolution skills, and stress management and problem solving skills, must be organized and able to prioritize work and manage the demands of large volumes of work, possess good oral and written communication skills, be proficient in the English language, and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Required Qualifications:
Some post-secondary education.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalency required. Business related course(s), preferably with medical terminology, required. Computer courses/training required. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computer programs: Windows, Excel, MS Word, RAIS, Clinibase, e-Scheduler, Outlook, SCM, Netcare, Visio, Powerpoint. Ability to use audiovisual/Telehealth equipment. Strong interpersonal skills with an engaging and welcoming manner. Good telephone skills. Ability to work with difficult clients with patience and understanding from a family-centred care perspective. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a fast -paced environment. Ability to work with multiple professionals and community resources. Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with service providers internal and external to AHS. Demonstrated superior verbal and written communication skills in the English language. Demonstrated excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to execute sound clinical judgment and utilize resources judiciously and appropriately.
Preferred Qualifications:
Three years of experience working in a clerical position (Admin IV or unit clerk) within a medical or mental health setting preferred.
