Position Status: 3 Positions - Temporary Full-time Contract

Available: September 2, 2025

Description Of The Position As a member of the Impact Ambassador Team, you will be responsible for inspiring and engaging our partners at corporate and community events, encouraging them to achieve their fundraising goals and create impact for SickKids Foundation (SKF).

Just like brand ambassadors who advocate for a company or brand, as an Impact Ambassador your role is to promote awareness of the SickKids’ brand within the community through having positive interactions with donors and conveying the impact of the important work done by The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). Your role will be a mix of being on the road visiting our corporate partners at their storefronts and offices, attending events in the community, and in-office days.

You Will

  • Oversee your individual fundraising territory, including supporting retail-level fundraising activities, providing support with campaign logistics, and scheduling in-person and virtual visits;
  • Travel to our corporate partners' offices and/or retail locations and deliver presentations to volunteers, employee groups, and influencers to educate and inspire attendees about SickKids and to drive fundraising activity;
  • Attend events in the community to provide on-site support, run fundraising activations, and engage with the event attendees to boost fundraising results;
  • Provide customized impact speeches to donor groups of all sizes to inspire them about SickKids’ mission;
  • Provide timely reporting to relationship managers about your retail store location visits, community events, and corporate partnership engagements including challenges and opportunities;
  • Complete all data entry and reporting in our CRM system called KYDS (training provided);
  • Work and communicate with your fellow Impact Ambassadors to manage workload and report campaign and partner trends back to the Activation Team and relationship managers;
  • Collect meaningful stories for the purpose of building relationships and personalizing future communication opportunities and social media content;
  • Support with additional office and administrative duties and projects as required; including but not limited to support with mailouts, resource customization, and inventory support;

Qualifications While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:

  • Qualified for the position if you have obtained a university degree or college diploma with a focus on Not-For-Profit Management, Marketing, or another relevant field. New graduates are defined as individuals who have graduated from an accredited university or college in Canada within the last 36 months.
  • Strong people skills and comfortable building relationships in professional settings;
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills through phone, video, and in person;
  • Confident and compelling public speaker, storyteller, and motivator who can engage and inspire people;
  • Organized, detail-oriented, with strong follow-through to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner;
  • Works well independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to pitch in and support a variety of projects as needed;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and get creative and resourceful to complete work in tight deadlines;
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to easily adjust to new strategies and scheduling changes as they emerge;
  • A personal connection to the hospital and cause is an asset in this role;
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends required.
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid driver’s license (G Level) required. Mileage will be reimbursed.

Total Compensation Package Hiring Salary Range: $17.99 - $20.05/hour

Hours: 35-hour (full-time) work week, flexible work options available; hybrid work model, in office work required; evening and weekend work required.
