POSITION: Systems and Applications Supervisor (Competition #2025-73)
LOCATION: Corporate Services, Oxford County Administration Building
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Permanent Full-time
REPORTING TO: Manager of Information Technology
UNION AFFILIATION: Non-Union
WAGE RATE: $56.61/hr - $70.76/hr($103,030.20– $128,783.20)/Annually

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a member of the Information Technology (IT) Team, the Systems and Applications Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the Systems and Applications Team within Oxford County. This position is responsible for ensuring Oxford County’s systems and servers are operating reliably and providing next level support for all required sites
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science and Information Technology or related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading a team and providing front line customer service.
- Demonstrated senior level experience supporting Microsoft-based servers in a corporate environment.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, including Entra, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
- Proven experience supporting Linux based servers
- Demonstrated working knowledge of networking technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to take initiative and work independently.
- Time management skills, including prioritization of tasks, scheduling, and goal setting.
- Experience supporting computer endpoints in a corporate environment (Windows and macOS) preferred.
- Experience with budget development is preferred.
- Experience supporting SCADA systems (asset).
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification (asset).
- Knowledge of relevant trends, best practices and legislation and regulations.
- Valid Ontario drivers’ license required.
- An acceptable Criminal Record Check will be required.
