ROLE

Oversee clinical services, ensuring 24-hour quality care and collaboration among stakeholders

Develop and implement standards, policies, and procedures that align with best practices and the organization's mission

Manage departmental budgets and operational plans, aligning with strategic goals

Monitor quality indicators and program performance, identifying areas for improvement
-
Conduct performance appraisals for staff, implementing necessary corrective actions
-
Facilitate communication among teams, patients, and the community to foster participation and innovation
-
Identify and address educational needs for staff in collaboration with leadership and quality teams
-
Ensure effective human resource management and recruitment to meet program needs
-
Support ongoing fiscal and operational management, including risk and workload analysis
-
Mentor team members for professional growth and act as an organizational ambassador in external engagements.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS
-
Bachelors degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or Bachelor of Health Administration required
-
Master’s Degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration or Related Field is preferred
-
Minimum of 5 years of progressive related clinical experience is required
-
Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in a unionized environment
-
Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Location: Multi-Site, working on site at both the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital (SMMH) located in Bracebridge and Huntsville District Memorial Hospital (HDMH) located in Huntsville. Applicants must reside within 125km of one of our hospital campuses or be willing to relocate prior to starting. *Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis
Hours of Work: Regular work hours will be Monday to Friday 8 am - 4 pm, however shifts and hours may change according to departmental requirements. You may also be required to be available evenings and weekends.
