About the role

Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Account Manager to lead and grow our relationship with Target . This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing key account activities, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in account management, exceeding sales targets, and building strong customer relationships. This position requires strategic thinking, analytical ability, and strong collaboration and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets with Target
  • Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key account contacts
  • Deliver engaging and persuasive product presentations
  • Manage annual forecasts, profit plans, and sales action plans
  • Monitor performance vs. plan and adjust strategies as necessary
  • Develop account-specific promotional plans in alignment with internal stakeholders
  • Identify new business opportunities and recommend strategies for growth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, and finance to support account needs
  • Partner with buyers and internal teams to optimize execution and customer satisfaction
  • Attend and lead customer meetings, presentations, and product line reviews
  • Travel up to 50% for in-person meetings, trade shows, and industry events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of national sales or account management experience
  • Experience in direct selling to retail and consumer products required
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex customer relationships and achieving sales goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Self-starter who thrives in both autonomous and collaborative work environments
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
