We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.
Join EY and help to build a better working world.
EY-Parthenon’s unique combination of transformative strategy, transactions and corporate finance delivers real-world value – solutions that work in practice, not just on paper. Benefiting from EY’s full spectrum of services, we’ve reimagined strategic consulting to work in a world of increasing complexity.
With deep functional and sector expertise, paired with innovative AI-powered technology and an investor mindset, we partner with CEOs, Boards, Private Equity and Governments every step of the way – enabling you to shape your future with confidence.
The opportunity
EY-Parthenon’s Transaction Real Estate team is one of the largest integrated real estate advisory practices in Canada, offering strategic advisory, valuation, and transaction services to both public- and private-sector clients.
We help governments, institutions, and investors make informed decisions about land, infrastructure, and real estate—whether through surplus land strategies, portfolio optimization, development planning, or structuring partnerships for housing and mixed-use projects. For private clients, we provide guidance on development strategy, transaction support, and market positioning.
Our national team is growing and we’re looking for curious, collaborative thinkers who are excited to work across sectors and tackle some of the most interesting real estate challenges in Canada.
Your key responsibilities:
As an Analyst, you’ll be a key contributor on a wide range of mandates, working closely with senior team members and clients. Your work may include:
- Support some of the most interesting real estate projects happening in Canada with a focus on developing real estate strategies, master plans, and portfolio optimization frameworks for public- and private-sector clients.
- Conducting research and analysis to assess highest and best use, land development potential, market trends, and policy implications.
- Building and maintaining financial models to support strategic decision-making and investment evaluation.
- Synthesizing market data and policy inputs to inform real estate investment strategy, government land use decisions, and mixed-income housing development.
- Preparing high-quality client deliverables including reports, presentations, and business cases.
- Contributing to real estate due diligence, including transaction structuring, partner evaluation, and scenario testing.
- Supporting business development efforts through proposal writing, thought leadership, and client outreach.
- Support the team in the preparation of both internal and external presentations.
We are interested in candidates who have:
- Undergraduate degree in real estate, economics, business, urban planning, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in real estate consulting, development, planning, or public-sector strategy.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret data and synthesize findings clearly.
- Excellent slide-writing and presentation development skills—you should be comfortable turning complex ideas into clear, structured, and visually compelling PowerPoint decks.
- Proficiency in Excel modeling, PowerPoint, and market research tools.
- Demonstrated interest in real estate development, housing, infrastructure, or economic policy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for clarity and narrative flow.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- A growth mindset and openness to pursuing a relevant designation (e.g.,AACI, CFA, RPP, PMP, or others aligned with your career path).
