Join Our Team as a Special-Order Parts Specialist

We’re hiring a Special-Order Parts Specialist to support our Parts and Service teams at our Abbotsford, BC Dealership**.** This full-time position offers a great opportunity to work closely with OEMs, vendors, and internal departments in sourcing and coordinating special-order parts for RVs. You’ll be a key player in ensuring the timely and accurate procurement of parts, contributing to exceptional service for our customers.

Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

As a Special-Order Parts Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting our Service Departments across Canada by ensuring the accurate and timely sourcing of special-order RV parts. You’ll collaborate closely with manufacturers, distributors, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly and our customers satisfied.

  • Proactively source and order special-order parts from OEMs and other vendors
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate processing of parts orders, following all company policies and procedures
  • Check parts availability before ordering and verify pricing using service manuals, reference tools, and online databases
  • Accurately enter orders into our system and track them through to receipt, keeping all stakeholders informed
  • Follow up on all special-order parts to confirm orders are placed, received, and processed without delay
  • Research and provide substituted or upgraded part options for obsolete or discontinued items
  • Assist with preparing and researching accurate price quotes when needed
  • Manage back-orders by collaborating with internal parts personnel and suppliers to determine order status and update customers with realistic ETAs
  • Build strong working relationships with OEMs, distributors, service centers, dealers, and occasionally consumers to ensure parts availability and clear communication on delivery timelines
  • Maintain good telephone etiquette and provide courteous, professional support when resolving inquiries
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal staff to ensure alignment and workflow efficiency
  • Take initiative and assist with additional duties as assigned by the National Parts and Procurement Manager

To Be Successful in This Role, You Should Have:

  • Strong knowledge of RV parts, including mechanical and electrical components
  • Experience with RV special-order parts (an asset)
  • Previous experience in the RV industry (an asset)
  • Secondary education and/or RV-related technical background preferred
  • Strong organizational, investigation, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative team mindset
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills—both written and verbal
  • Tech-savvy with solid computer proficiency and the ability to use internal systems efficiently
  • A passion for helping customers and ensuring timely, accurate delivery of the right parts

Compensation: The hourly rate for this position ranges from $23 to $28 per hour, with the maximum rate based on relevant experience in the RV industry.
