About the role
Tremblay Fire Solutions is recruiting a bookkeeper to work within our finance team to handle our “Project and Service” transactions. From accounts payable to accounts receivable, along with other financial tasks. This role is a vital part of Tremblay Fire Solutions’ trusted management team. The Bookkeeper will work with the Project Manager and the Sales team. To succeed in this role, applicants must have high-level Excel skills and experience with major financial and accounting software. We are implementing a paperless filing system which means all documents will be uploaded to the cloud. Our hours are from 7:30 am until 4:00 pm Monday to Friday. Tremblay Fire Solutions offers competitive wages (dependent on experience and knowledge), Health & Dental Benefits and matching Pension Plan. Your responsibilities within the finance team will be to Enter “Projects” into our accounting system and monitor them from start to finish including, progressive building and monitoring progress. Customer invoices for “service” calls and ensuring job completion. Qualifications: ● Strong knowledge of general accounting principles ● Experience with bookkeeping and accounting software ● At least two years of bookkeeping experience with Projects ● Strong written and verbal communication skills ● Attention to detail and problem-solving skills ● Ability to prepare, review, and understand financial statements and documents
Education: Minimum requirement- Accounting or Bookkeeping certificate from accredited college.
