Who are we looking for? We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Campaign Manager with a strong blend of content creation and demand generation expertise. This role will be accountable for designing, developing, executing, and optimizing integrated marketing campaigns specifically aimed at attracting and converting new government logos. You will own the full campaign lifecycle, from content conceptualization to execution, measurement, and optimization, directly contributing to our MQL, new revenue, and business goals. The role can be based in Waterloo, Ottawa or Toronto offices. Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Strategy & Planning:
- Develop comprehensive, data-driven campaign strategies and plans for your portfolio, focused on new customer acquisition, aligning with overall business objectives and product marketing messaging.
- Identify target personas and their pain points for your portfolio to inform campaign themes, messaging, and channel selection.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Marketing Manager to translate product positioning and messaging into compelling campaign narratives and content.
- Content Development & Curation:
- Own the end-to-end content creation process for campaign assets, including but not limited to email sequences, landing page copy, social media posts/ads, webinar scripts/presentations, case studies, blog posts, and downloadable resources.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand voice, style guidelines, and regulatory requirements (in collaboration with the Design/UX Member).
- Campaign Execution & Management:
- Execute multi-channel campaigns across all platforms (e.g., email marketing, paid social, organic social, paid search, content syndication, webinars, virtual/in-person events).
- Manage campaign budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Work closely with the Design/UX Member to create visually engaging and user-friendly campaign assets and landing pages.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization:
- Track, analyze, and report on key campaign performance metrics (e.g., MQLs, conversion rates, cost-per-lead, website traffic, engagement).
- Conduct A/B testing and continuous optimization to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Provide regular insights and recommendations to the Head of Marketing.
- Lead Management & Sales Collaboration:
- Work directly with the sales and business development teams to ensure seamless lead hand-off, lead qualification criteria alignment, and feedback loops.
- Market & Persona Understanding:
- Continuously monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and government landscape to identify new opportunities and inform campaign strategies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the specific personas and their buying journeys.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proven track record of driving MQLs and contributing to revenue growth through integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution ability across various digital marketing channels.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Sales, Design)
- Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot), CRM systems, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Experience with SEO best practices for content is a plus.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in campaign management, demand generation, and content creation, preferably within a B2B or B2G environment.
