About the role

Role Overview:

Applies a diverse range of research methods to uncover key user insights throughout the product development cycle under the guidance of a research lead. Collaborates closely with cross-functional product teams to align research efforts with strategic goals and key questions. Partners with fellow researchers to execute end-to-end studies, including study planning, participant recruitment, and data synthesis. Delivers actionable insights and communicates findings to relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Employs various qualitative and quantitative research methods to generate user insights.

Translates product team objectives into structured research plans.

Independently conducts studies such as ethnographic explorations, one-on-one interviews, and usability testing, with mentorship support.

Produces research reports and actionable recommendations; presents findings to stakeholders with confidence.

Fosters strong collaboration with researchers and cross-functional partners in Design, Product Management, and Engineering.

Demonstrates a growth mindset and curiosity about human behavior and decision-making.

Generates insights that inform ideation and evaluate design effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in user experience, applied research, or product development; or Master’s degree with 2+ years of experience; or PhD with relevant experience.

Proficient in conducting in-depth interviews, focus groups, concept testing, and usability testing.

Hands-on experience with primary research execution.

Skilled in translating research findings into strategic narratives.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in consumer products, consumer insights, or product development.

Academic background in a human behavior-related field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Neuroscience, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics.

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.

  2. Any experience working on tech products and driving research insights.

  3. Any experience in zero-to-one research
