Job Description

Pacific Chartered Advisors LLP is a boutique accounting, tax planning and business advisory firm operation out of Langley, Vancouver and the Okanagan. As a relatively young firm, we are growing exponentially and are looking for those who are eager to learn and join a group of young professionals.

We are looking for a full-time Junior Bookkeeper to add value to our growing accounting team. Are you a highly motivated individual who works well both in a team setting, as well as independently? If so, this exciting position within our firm offers you the potential to grow exponentially and move up within our company.

Responsibilities include:

· Providing clients with full cycle bookkeeping services;

· Data entry to bookkeeping software based on information provided by client;

· Maintain and process accounts payable and receivable;

· Maintain and oversee account reconciliations and tie outs;

· Processing employee payroll and generating PD7A remittance reports;

· Manage calculation and timely submission of GST/PST remittance;

· Prepare and process payroll and remittance;

· Maintain and organize physical and digital paperwork provided;

· Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures;

· Use of software modules and maintenance of chart of accounts;

· Interim reporting for clients;

· Support accounting team carrying out all financial and accounting responsibilities.

Qualifications that we require or strongly prefer are:

· Must be skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data;

· Must have experience in the use of Excel Spreadsheets;

· Must have experience using Microsoft Office software;

· Experience in other bookkeeping software is an asset;

· Must have very good verbal and communication skills;

· Willingness to work the hours necessary to meet deadlines.
