About the role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Intermediate Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a solid understanding of design principles and a passion for creating compelling content. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for executing the brand look and feel and designing marketing & brand communications across various media.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce high-quality visual content for digital and print media (e.g., email templates, brochures, packaging, presentations).
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and execute designs that align with brand guidelines.
  • Translate complex ideas into visually engaging and accessible designs.
  • Support the development and maintenance of brand standards and visual consistency across all platforms.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Some video editing - able to add logos and create smooth transitions in short videos.
  • Stay current with industry trends, tools, and technologies to bring fresh ideas to the team.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience as a graphic designer or in a similar role; experience at an advertising agency a plus
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Rush and InDesign) and familiarity with Figma, Canva, or other design tools
  • Proficiency in Google Slides, PowerPoint, and Keynote
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of work across different media and platforms
  • Solid understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, color theory, composition, and basic video editing and video graphics application
  • Experience designing for both digital (web, email, social) and print formats
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication, time management skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Basic knowledge of motion graphics or UX/UI design is a plus

Salary Range:

The range for this role is $90-110k/yr.

Location:

This position is located in downtown Toronto, with an on-site expectation of three days a week
