REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE (25-0000593)
Bargaining Unit: UNIFOR-HOSPITAL
Status: Temporary Part Time
Department: Geriatric Assessment & Rehabilitative Care
Site: St. Joseph's Hospital
Shifts: Days/Nights
Rate of Pay: $35.505 - $38.163 per hour
Qualifications:
-
Current Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
-
Current CPR
-
Current physical assessment and pharmacology courses
-
Clinical knowledge and demonstrated ability to work with designated population
-
Excellent interprofessional team skills
-
Must work within the full scope of practice as an RPN
-
Background in Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments and experience working with seniors considered an asset.

Demonstrated regular attendance at work
CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
- Offers of employment made to external candidates are conditional upon providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per the SJCG Immunization Policy IMS-04-005 or proof of valid medical exemption, prior to the offered effective date. If proof of vaccination or valid medical exemption is not provided, the offer of employment is rescinded.
