About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Full Stack Developer with 1-2 years of
hands-on experience to join our e-commerce development team. The ideal candidate will have a
strong foundation in web development with a specific focus on the Shopify ecosystem. You'll play a vital role in building and maintaining custom Shopify themes and apps, ensuring performance, accessibility, and best coding practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, customization, and maintenance of Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Work with Shopify APIs, Webhooks, Metafields, and Metaobjects to create scalable and flexible solutions
- Collaborate with designers and senior developers to implement responsive and accessible front-end components
- Write clean, modular, and efficient code that aligns with performance best practices
- Participate in code reviews and version control using Git and GitHub
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues across a variety of browsers and devices
- Stay up to date with new Shopify features, tools, and ecosystem changes Clearly communicate progress and challenges with the development team
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of professional experience as a Full Stack or Front-End Developer Solid understanding of Shopify (Liquid, theme architecture, APIs, metafields/metaobjects, checkout customization)
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern Web Components- Experience with version control systems such as Git and platforms like GitHub
- Familiar with RESTful and GraphQL APIs- Ability to write performance, accessible, and maintainable code
- Strong communication skills in English - written and verbal
- Team player with attention to detail and a passion for quality
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with Remix, GraphQL, or modern JavaScript frameworks
- Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, or enterprise e-commerce integrations
- Understanding of CI/CD workflows and deployment processes
