Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders for medications and supplies as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards, including medication administration protocols.
- Organize and maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of medical information.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care initiatives within the hospital environment.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and healthcare staff.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
- Familiarity with medication administration processes in a hospital or clinical setting is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in medication dispensing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
