We are growing our team in Calgary and seeking a dedicated, high-performing Property Manager who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of multi-residential rental properties in Calgary, Alberta.
What you will do:
- Manage all aspects of the operation of a portfolio of multi-residential properties;
- Oversee staff to ensure properties are well maintained and ensure all maintenance issues are addressed in a timely and cost-effective manner;
- Work with staff to ensure vacant apartments are leased, according to leasing procedures;
- Deal with the Residential Tenancy Act directly for all tenancy matters;
- Complete annual property operating budget and monthly variance analysis;
- Provide support to and supervise staff associated with the portfolio including conducting annual performance reviews.
Who you are:
- 5+ years of experience in the Property Management industry, multi-residential experience preferred;
- Completion of a university degree or college diploma program in a related field or equivalent experience;
- Ability to thrive in a changing environment and contribute to a rapidly growing organization;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Experience with budgeting and financial reporting;
- Effective, proven leadership skills with previous supervisory experience;
- Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently;
- Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word and Excel;
- Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and experience with Landlord and Tenant Board processes;
- Experience with Yardi property management software is considered an asset.
