We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our team in a vibrant hospitality environment. This role is essential for maintaining the cleanliness of our kitchen and ensuring that food is prepared to the highest standards. Duties
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling dishes.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
- Help maintain inventory by reporting low stock levels of kitchen supplies.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.
- Support the overall cleanliness of the restaurant or hotel environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with food handling and safety practices is a plus.
- A background in hospitality or food service will be beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
