Overview of the Role
This role is ideal for someone who truly embodies ethree’s values. Reporting to the Finance & Operations Director, the Systems Administrator is responsible, highly self-motivated, and eager to contribute wherever needed. Detail-oriented and well-organized, they take pride in doing things thoroughly and efficiently, and are always thinking of smarter ways to work. This person takes initiative, steps up without hesitation, and never says “that’s not my job.”
They are confident in sharing ideas, open to feedback, and constantly looking to grow. With strong interpersonal skills and a keen awareness of their surroundings, they know how to read the room and connect with others effectively. Above all, they’re driven by a genuine desire to contribute and to keep learning from others.
Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

Systems Administration & Support: Manage and support daily operations of internal and client-facing systems, with a focus on our Learning Centre and HUMI (our partner HRIS). Provide additional internal support across platforms such as Loxo, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, Harvest, Forecast, and Articulate.

Client Platform Enablement: Support onboarding, access, and troubleshooting for clients using our learning centre, HR Toolkit, and other digital tools. Gather feedback and implement improvements to enhance the client experience.

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Serve as the first point of contact for technical issues, from login errors to broken integrations and data sync failures. Investigate root causes and resolve problems efficiently. Collaborate with the Chief Executive Officer to identify new ticketing and issue resolution processes.

Automation & Integration: Design and maintain low-code/no-code workflows (e.g., Zapier) to streamline internal operations and enhance the usability of client-facing systems.

Platform & Data Maintenance: Ensure all systems are current, backed up, and properly integrated. Proactively monitor for errors or inefficiencies, taking swift, corrective action as needed.

System Change Management: Coordinate updates and changes to digital products and internal tools, working with stakeholders to ensure smooth rollouts and minimal disruptions. Work with the Chief Executive Officer and Operations Director to establish and manage a structured change process.
Ideal Candidate
- Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Business, HR Tech, or a related field.
- Certifications in systems (e.g., LMS, Zapier, Microsoft) are an asset.
- 3+ years in a systems or IT-related support role, ideally within a small business or professional services environment.
- Experience with client-facing platform support or system administration.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and currently reside in Atlantic Canada.
This role is largely remote, however the individual may be required to attend the workplace of the Chief Executive Officer or Finance & Operations Director. At times, the incumbent may be required to work outside of regular hours to complete projects or meet deadlines.
