Pay: $43.40/hour with Ticket
Hours: Monday to Friday- 5AM-1:30PM
Our priority is to make sure we hire mechanics that care about the safety of our drivers and the service provided to the community. As a mechanic with us the minimum responsibilities are:
- Perform on-site welding repairs on waste bins (metal and Plastic)
- Repair and replace wheels, locks, lock bars, and other bin components
- Conduct general maintenance and ensure bins meet operational standards
- Use stick welding and torching techniques to cut, shape, and fuse metal parts
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition
- Travel daily between customers sites from Harrison Lake to West Vancouver
Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members to coordinate repairs
What We Need From You:
- Proven experience in stick welding and metal torching
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and work outdoors in various conditions
Welding certification is an asset but not required
