JOB SUMMARY:
The Hydrovac Swamper reports to Hydrovac Operator to support the function and operation of Tornado Hydrovac for JATEC projects.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
-
Working 5 - 6 days a week, 8 - 10 hours a day, depending on shop requirements.

Assist hydrovac operator with hydrovacing underground utilities (willing to train)
-
Perform physically demanding construction labour work.
-
Working with Hand tools and power equipment
-
Able to work in various climatic conditions and work effectively
-
Strong sense of urgency and commitment to assigned work

Practice safe operating procedures and follows Company Policies and Standards

Other duties as assigned and required for JATEC’s operations and personal development
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license required.
- Must have reliable vehicle.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Be able to stand, kneel, crouch, bend and walk.
- Outdoor Construction background or telecommunication experience is an asset
- Experience as an Equipment operator for a mini excavator and skid steer an asset
