Job Summary:
BGM Metalworks Inc. is a busy custom fabrication and machine shop located in Kingston, Ontario offering build to print and custom solutions across a wide variety of industries. Our ideal candidate will have experience with hand and power tools, be a driven individual with high attention to detail and a positive “can do” attitude.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Pickup materials from suppliers
- Deliver to customers
- Duties will include deburring parts, grinding and cleaning metal parts
- Light assembly and disassembly of machine parts
- Perform cleanups and service as needed
- Effectively communicate with Superintendents, clients, coworkers etc.
- Shipping/Receiving; signing off on deliveries we receive
- Communicating with Logistics Manager regarding stock, health and safety policies / procedures, relevant issues that occur in the warehouse etc
- Maintaining cleanliness of isles and shelves
- Organizing
- Use of hand tools, grinders, drills, etc.
Experience:
- Valid G drivers license and clean driving record
- Fork lift experience an asset
- 1-2 years in a shop setting
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
