About the role
We are looking for highly experienced and motivated Youth Workers to join our team. As a Youth Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to vulnerable youth and assisting them in achieving their goals.
We are looking for candidates who possess a strong foundational knowledge of mental health, trauma-informed approaches, conflict management, and verbal de-escalation techniques. The ideal candidate should have experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds and should be able to communicate effectively with youth, their families, and other members of the team.
To be eligible for this role, applicants must possess a completed degree relevant to the field, such as Child & Youth Worker, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. In addition, applicants must have a valid NVIC, with recent Vulnerable Sector & Child welfare checks.
