POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Business Processes and Sales Analyst whose primary focus is leveraging data analysis to evaluate operational processes and identify opportunities to drive efficiency, productivity, and results in a sales environment. You will play a critical role in analyzing workflows, uncovering bottlenecks, and recommending actionable improvements that enhance operational effectiveness and sales performance.

You are a self-starter with a creative and entrepreneurial mind that brings strong analytical thinking, thrives on structure and consistency, and is proactive in using data-driven insights to improve processes, optimize outcomes, and support client satisfaction through measurable improvements. It will be your job to help us identify what is working and what is not, and setting the stage for change through data driven recommendations. Operational metrics, measurement and execution will be your domain and playground.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Processes and Sales Analyst

This role will provide data-driven analysis and reporting to evaluate, monitor, and optimize operational and sales processes, driving efficiency and performance improvements.

  • Analyze operational and sales data including:
  • Sales and open quotes
  • Order fulfillment KPIs (on-time delivery, accuracy, order completeness)
  • Quote-to-close ratios, average order value, and gross margin trends
  • Assess process performance and identify trends and inefficiencies
  • Monitor and report on KPIs that report on operational and sales performance against targets, highlight areas for opportunities and risk
  • Generate, manage, and review purchase orders and sales requisitions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
  • Follow through with vendors and logistics partners to ensure on-time and accurate delivery to clients.
  • Track and manage outstanding quotes, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion.
  • Contribute to weekly and monthly reports to increase data visibility with the aim of enhancing operational efficiencies.
  • Develop and present actionable recommendations based on data insights to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and optimize sales and operational outcomes.

Client Success & Process Improvement

Review client servicing metrics (e.g., response times, resolution rates, satisfaction scores, lost opportunities) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Conduct regular post-sale check-ins to assess client satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Investigate and document lost sales opportunities, identifying reasons and competitor insights
  • Develop actionable insights for enhancing service delivery and competitiveness.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine client service processes to improve speed, clarity, and satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key client contacts and stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver regular reports on client success KPIs

Other Supporting Role

This role also supports sales and business development by providing analytical, organizational, and creative assistance to drive client engagement and conversion

  • Assist the sales team in preparing and managing sales quote by tracking outstanding proposals to support conversion efforts.
  • Assist the sales team in developing data-driven, and visually engaging presentations and materials to support client meetings, proposals, and sales pitches.
  • Support Venture’s business development initiatives by providing analytical insights and process knowledge to identify and pursue new client opportunities, including research on prospects and market trends.
  • Help organize and track business development activities, ensuring timely follow-up with clients and internal stakeholders to advance opportunities through the pipeline.

QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, operations support, process improvement, or a similar role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data and make actionable recommendations
  • Understanding of business process mapping, KPI development, and reporting techniques.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proven experience working in data-driven environments.
  • Strong command of MS Office (especially Excel for data tracking and reporting).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Able to work full-time in-office, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
